How to make your team follow you:

(Without acting like a tyrant)

There’s a misconception in business that to command respect.

You need to be a hard-ass.

That’s simply not true.

If you want your team to respect and follow you.

Here’s what you should do:

→ Believe in and share the mission
→ Check your ego at the door
→ Simplify and communicate
→ Empower but also
→ Train and coach
→ Plan

Great leaders don’t inspire people to follow them by shouting the loudest.

They do it by commanding respect.

And making people WANT to follow them.
